The programs, tools and practices of the Self-Worth Institute are designed to reconnect you to your innate self-worth so you can take consistent and confident action on your business and life purpose, vision and goals.
You are enough
Angela Raspass is an Associate of the Global Self-Worth Academy in Portugal and the Founder of the Self-Worth Institute in Australia. She is a speaker, author and Business Mentor for people who are yearning to step into their Next Chapter in business and life.
In 2003, after a corporate career in marketing, events and sponsorships, she launched a marketing agency from her dining room table and grew it to point where she bought an office on the northside of Sydney and had a small, full-time team.
By 2012 Angela realised she’d created a business that leveraged her skills and experience but no longer fully engaged her heart. It wasn’t a fit for who she had become, a woman utterly changed by overcoming addiction, reconnecting with her self-worth and developing a new vision.
Once you’ve written a new story of enoughness, and reconnected to your worth, once you change from the inside out, it can never be “business as usual” again. Closing her agency and pivoting from consulting to mentoring, Angela shares a potent blend of personal and business development tools that help her clients, unearth, live and work by what’s true for them, building businesses that blend contribution, fulfilment and financial reward. You can discover more about her work on her personal website.
The Self-Worth Institute is her Next Chapter and new vision, a fusion of experience and action that will change your life and the life of those around you, your clients, family and friends.
Angela lives in Bayview, on Sydney’s Northern Beaches with her husband of 25 years, and their daughter, who is in her final year of high school. Their son is studying at ANU in Canberra.
What are some of the symptoms of low self-worth?
Common actions and experiences
- Constantly seeking to prove your credibility (e.g. getting “just one more” qualification).
- Boisterous, talking all the time, needing to be the centre of attention.
- Doing, doing… over-servicing, not being able to pause or rest
- Significant procrastination: unable to take action, feeling drained and flat.
- Stuck in the Comparison Trap – constantly feeling less than or better than others.
- Finding it difficult to charge for your services at a market rate.
- A lack of discernment – which sees you pursuing things you don’t really want.
- Stifled by perfectionism, unable to share your ideas with the world.
Common feelings and emotions
- Demanding and critical inner voice that makes you feel inadequate
- Constantly trying to impress other people to gain their approval or keep them happy.
- Protracted periods of feeling sad, resigned or hopeless.
- Unmotivated – a disconnection from a sense of purpose or personal vision.
- Susceptible to Impostor syndrome – a feeling that you’ll be caught out.
- Feeling deeply wounded by setbacks, rejection or criticism, holding grudges.
- A tendency towards victimhood, blaming others and bad luck for your circumstances.
- Feeling as though you do not belong, as though you are on the fringes and not truly included.
“It’s not about creating or developing self-worth. You already have it. You were born with it. It’s just that over time conditioning, comparison and competition have weakened, and sometimes severed, your connection to it. The express purpose of the Self-Worth Institute is to equip you with the insights, tools and practices that will reconnect you to your innate self-worth, anchor you into that joyful, creative, confident and resilient state and empower you to quickly return when the inevitable curveballs of business and life try to disconnect you again.
The Self-Worth Continuum is at the heart of this journey”.
